NFP Nurse Supervisor

From a young age, Liz dreamed of becoming a nurse, starting her journey as a candy striper before pursuing her formal education. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) in 2009 and dedicated 12 years to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), where she obtained her RNC-NIC certification, showcasing her commitment to the tiniest patients.

For the past six years, Liz has made a significant impact in the Nurse-Family Partnership (NFP) program, spending two years as a nurse home visitor and the last four years as a nurse supervisor. Her dedication to maternal and child health also led her to become a Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC), helping mothers successfully breastfeed.

Liz’s contributions to the nursing profession have not gone unnoticed; she was honored with the Panhandle Great 25 Nurses Award in 2021 and, in 2022, graduated with a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) in Population Health. Her leadership and excellence in nursing were further recognized in 2023 when she received the Daisy Award for her outstanding accomplishments as an NFP supervisor and her commitment to education.

With a passion for improving health outcomes and a heart for service, Liz continues to inspire those around her and make a lasting difference in her community.
